An author's full name and the complete title of books may be found on the 3-5 grade and 6-8 grade Elite 36 booklists. If you have any questions regarding which specific book/title or in a series of books/titles has been selected, please contact Beyda for Books.
To our members: It is difficult to get 3-4 grade books always in paperbacks. We take recommendations from Librarians across the nation but some books they recommend are available only in hardcovers. The good news is that those books will last a long time and take abuse well by young children. Also, we want our 3rd graders especially to read great literature and enjoy the 'feel of the book' which will only encourage young readers to read more books. Every year we try to choose only paper back books; next year our hope is that all our books are produced in paperback editions.
